discussion the recent story of a New York City judge who permitted a woman
to “serve” her husband with divorce papers through Facebook
Wald’s article discusses the case, the novel issue of allowing the
service of court documents via online and social media services, and what
this may mean to attorneys and legal consumers in the future. As Wald
states in the article: “the world of social media is changing the
landscape of the modern practice of law,” which in turn raises many
questions about whether it may become the new norm.
