Catherine C. Darlson
Catherine C. Darlson has a diverse practice that includes product liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, insurance coverage, state and federal qui tam, and general negligence cases. She is admitted to practice in Florida, including to federal practice in Florida’s Northern and Southern Districts. Prior to graduating from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law with honors in 2014, Catherine served as an extern at the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Jacksonville, Florida, and as a Certified Legal Intern for the Offices of Stacy Scott, Public Defender, in Gainesville, Florida. As a Certified Legal Intern, Catherine represented indigent defendants in open court, including at trial. While in law school, Catherine earned Book Awards (given to the student who achieves the highest grade in the class) in Torts and Labor Law, served as a teaching assistant in Appellate Advocacy, and worked as a research assistant to Professors Mark Fenster and John Stinneford, focusing on classified information leaks and the Cruel & Unusual Punishments Clause of the U.S. Constitution, respectively.
Catherine is a native of the Stuart, Florida area and is an active member of the Florida Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association, the Broward County Bar Association, and the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division.
